Prof Joe Manu-Aduening is an Associate Professor and a former Deputy Director of the Crops Research Institute of CSIR. He is a Geneticist and Plant Breeder. His research activities include the development and dissemination of superior cassava cultivars for Ghanaian farmers. He has a special interest in technology transfer and a wealth of knowledge in Participatory Breeding and farmer participation in research and development. Over the past 20 years, he has led a team of researchers to develop and release nineteen high-yielding cassava varieties tolerant to the African Cassava Mosaic Disease, used for local food preparation, and suitable for the cassava processing market including Ethanol, Starch, HQCF, and Chips.

Nana Labi (Sam Labi) is the President of the Micro-World Agricultural, Health & Educational Organization (MWAHEO).  He has been an educator with the Seattle Public Schools and is slated to retire, hopefully in July of 2023, after 31 years of dedicated service.  Nana is 64 years old and lives in Spanaway, Washington State with his wife, Saraphina, and two young daughters, Lesley (14) and Rhianna (8).  Nana became Chief of his area in Ghana in 2007 and oversees family lands in Ghana.  He desires to settle semi-permanently in Ghana to oversee the Estates belonging to his community.

Nana Kwaku Afriyie is an agribusiness entrepreneur and CEO of Afuomhene Farms Limited. He holds an EMBA in Project Management from the University of Ghana and a BSc in Administration (Accounting) also from the University of Ghana. His specialty is in animal husbandry and currently provides consultancy services on animal farming and setting up farms.  He is married with two (2) kids


Francis Monnie is an agribusiness entrepreneur and co-founder of Green roots and Grow For Me Ltd, an aggrotech company in Ghana. He holds an MPhil in Agriculture Engineering (Soil & Water Conservation) from the University of Ghana and a Certificate in Food Safety from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Francis is married to Deborah Afosika Monnie and is blessed with two kids. He currently serves as the Head of Farm Operations at Grow for Me where his main responsibility is to oversee all farming and investment operations. His passion is to see a booming and safe Agri commodity production and supply where food is so safe for everyone, and his dream is to set up an Agriculture Technology Innovation College to train the next generation of Agric enthusiasts across Africa.
